Dans ce
documentaire expérimental, je propose une exploration visuelle et émotionnelle
de l'exil à travers mon propre point de vue. À travers une narration non
linéaire, qui oscille entre réalité et imaginaire, le film invite le spectateur
à suivre un voyage intérieur, en abordant les thèmes de l'identité, de la perte
et de la recherche d'un foyer.
J'ai essayé une
approche personnelle en intégrant les textes de mon carnet et en enregistrant,
pendant plus d'un an, mes appels avec ma mère à Beyrouth. Nous y évoquons
l'exil, sa vie quotidienne, ainsi que les guerres qui touchent le Liban et la
région. Cette méthode m'a permis de donner une dimension intime au film, en le
racontant à la première personne.
Ce projet a été
pour moi l'occasion d'explorer une manière différente de monter un film.
